Green Sisho (Microgreens)

Green shiso microgreens are young and tender plants that are grown from the seeds of the Perilla frutescens plant, also known as the shiso plant or Japanese basil. Shiso is a member of the mint family and is native to Southeast Asia. Green shisho microgreens have a slightly sweet, minty flavor with a hint of cinnamon and basil. They are commonly used in Japanese and Korean cuisine as a garnish or to add flavor to dishes like sushi, salads, soups, and stir-fries.
